A placid Pekingese slowly trotted to victory on Tuesday at the 136th Westminster Kennel Club dog show.
Malachy the Pekingese wobbled off with best in show Tuesday night at the Westminster Kennel Club. The 4-year-old dog won his 115th overall best in show title. Among prizes: instant fame, appearances on the Today Show, The View, Fox and Friends, and others; the coveted silver bowl, a ribbon bigger than he is, and thousands of dollars in stud fees for his proud owners. He beat out a Dalmatian, German shepherd, Doberman pinscher, Irish setter, a Kerry blue terrier and wire-haired dachshund at Madison Square Garden.
