The second installment of The Hunger Games trilogy will be released on November 22, 2013.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is an upcoming American science-fiction adventure film based on Suzanne Collins’ novel. After surviving in the ruthless Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have returned home and try to forget about what happened to them in the Capitol. They broke the rules of the 74th Hunger Games that allowed them both to win. But President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, known as a Quarter Quell, carried out every 25 years in order to refresh the memory of the people killed during the uprising. This time the competition is held between the existing champions, and now Peeta and Katniss are forced to return to the next round of The Hunger Games, surrounded by experienced and vicious killers. Rules of the game are changing and arena is even more dangerous. But this competition could change Panem forever.
