Nokia announced the first Windows tablet Nokia Lumia 2520 at Nokia World Conference in Abu Dhabi.
Tablet runs OS Windows RT 8.1, 32 GB of internal memory and is powered by a 2.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Device has a full HD 10.1 inches touchscreen display (1920 x 1080) and is easy to read both indoors and outdoors. There’s a 6.7-megapixel camera with ZEISS optics and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls. Tablet has built-in battery and gets about a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes and about 80 percent in an hour.
Lumia 2520 also has installed Nokia Video Director – a new program for video content mounting that allows you to get more creative, working with video. Record video on your smartphone Lumia or on Lumia 2520 and edit with ready-made templates. Among the installed programs will be included Nokia Here Maps app, capable to operate without the Internet, and its Nokia Music app. You also get access to the desktop Office apps as part of this device.
Lumia 2520 will also be available with Nokia’s Power Keyboard. It comes with both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity and is available in beautiful red, white, cyan, and black.
Tablet sales will begin in primarily in the U.S. , the UK and Finland, and later in other countries.
