Michael Jackson tribute concert will be the first ever live Pay-Per-View event on Facebook.
The Jackson family held a press conference to announce that they’re going to hold a star-studded tribute concert in honor of the late Michael in Britain this coming October. Jackson fans can purchase access to the broadcast of the “Michael Forever” concert which will be held live from Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales for 40 Facebook credits ($3.99) if they buy it prior to the October 8 show. If they buy it on the day of the event, they have to pay for 50 Facebook credits ($4.99). Viewers will be able to like, comment, chat and share the concert experience with fellow fans around the world. Jamie Foxx will host the event. The show’s line-up includes such big stars as Black Eyed Peas, Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson, Craig David, Alexandra Burke, Alien Ant Farm, JLS, Pixie Lott and Beyonce Knowles.
