While Conrad Murray awaited his verdict, his fans from all over the world waited too. Dr. Murray found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of pop star. Murray was immediately handcuffed and taken into custody. He was spending his first night in jail Monday on suicide watch after verdict. The jury, consisted of seven men and five women, the jury finally reached a verdict after eight hours and fifteen minutes. 58-year-old medic now faces up to four years in a state prison and the loss of his medical license. His defense lawyer Ed Chernoff declined to comment on whether Murray will appeal against the criminal conviction. Crowds of fans outside the courtroom erupted as the verdict was announced.
