The Padfone is a hybrid that attempts at merging a smartphone with a tablet computer.
It is a smartphone that slides inside a tablet for a bigger screen and more battery life. Attach the tablet to a keyboard, and it is a laptop that works as a telephone. The smartphone is a fairly unassuming 4.3-inch qHD device with a nice ribbed metal backing and a 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera, 16/32/64GB internal storage, 21Mbps HSPA+ baseband, 1520mAh battery. Asustek Computer Inc. offered device at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the world’s biggest cellphone show. Padfone should be released in April sometimes, but company did not revealed the cost of device.
