Samsung announced Monday about a May 3 event in which reporters are being invited to come and meet the next-generation Galaxy device.
The internal hardware of the next Galaxy is still very much unconfirmed but speculation has it that it’s going to feature a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED HD (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive touchscreen show. The device will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 4412 SoC (system on a chip), which packs four Cortex A9 CPUs clocked at 1.5 GHz. Apparently Samsung will launch different versions of the Galaxy S III, such as 16GB and 32GB models. Samsung teased the tech press with a reveal of “The Next Galaxy” at a London event on May 3rd.
