Adele has been named Britain’s richest young musician.
The Sunday Times Rich List places Adele at the top of the young musicians rankings, following an all-conquering year in which her wealth has soared from £6million to £20 million. The 23-year-old “Someone Like You” hitmaker has risen to the top thanks to the huge success of her album “21”, which sold in excess of 20million copies worldwide. Cheryl Cole, who is worth £12million, came second in the list, followed by X Factor winner Leona Lewis who has apparently also made £12million. 22-year-old Daniel Radcliffe has been named the richest young actor in Britain, having earned a staggering £54million after starring in eight Harry Potter films, and more recently, “The Woman In Black”, which is said to have increased his fortune by £6million in a year. In second place is “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, 25, who has increased his wealth by 8million since last year, taking his total to £40million.
