LG officially launches 5-inch pen-friendly Android phone Optimus Vu.
LG has sent out some official press shots and confirmed the spec sheet for the Optimus Vu superphone without waiting for their chance to shine at Mobile World Congress next week in Barcelona. The Optimus Vu will be introduced in Korea in March. The phone has a bright Nova-like display with IPS screen technology, a 1024 X 768 resolution, and a 5-inch touchscreen. It is more optimized for reading documents, books, magazines, and notes. The Vu is only going to be 8.5mm thick, not the thinnest smartphone out there but certainly the thinnest LTE handset. This tablet-phone hybrid also offers 8-megapixel camera with full HD video recording, LED flash, and autofocus, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
