Stars, family and friends gathered to mourn Whitney Houston at her funeral on Saturday.
Mourners packed New Hope Baptist Church in Newark to pay tribute to Whitney Houston in a “home going” ceremony. The singer’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown was seen leaving the church in a Cadillac Escalade, along with his two children, Landon and LaPrincia. Bobbi Kristina, her daughter with Bobby Brown, arrives outside the church, just as service begins inside. Many of Houston’s fans in the past several days have left flowers, cards and balloons dedicated to the singer who became a global star with her 1985 debut album that included the hits “Saving All My Love For You,” “How Will I Know” and “Greatest Love Of All.” The singer will be buried Sunday in Westfield N.J.’s Fairview Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her father, John Russell Houston, who died in 2003.
