Opera Software announced the acquisition of Handster Inc.
Opera Software announced that is has acquired Northbrook-based Handster Inc., a leading mobile application store platform company. This company has assembled the world’s largest independent Android content library. It work also with iOS, Java and Symbian to Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, as well as tablets and netbooks. Opera is a browser company evolved to be into a fully integrated mobile services company and this acquisition is an important step in that direction. Handster Founder and CEO Victor Shaburov said “Handster could not have found a better suitor.
