The US leading toy retailer announced its own proprietary tablet called the Tabeo.
The Tabeo features with a 7-inch multi-touch screen designed by Toys R Us, 1GB of RAM, a Wi-Fi connection and runs on Google Inc.’s Android operating system. The device contains apps that help your children learn about math and science, has an included library to foster a love of reading, and entertainment and activity options galore, all this, with a heaping portion of parental controls. The Tabeo has its own filter, which can be set to block 27 predetermined categories of content, and parents can choose additional sites to block as well. The new Tabeo will be available exclusively at Toys R Us stores starting October 21 and will be priced at $150.
