Paul McCartney will marry for third time on John Lennon’s birthday.
They will exchange vows at London’s Westminster Register office where the former Beatle married first wife Linda. Sir Paul McCartney will pay tribute to his late wife Linda, mother of three of his grown-up children, in an emotional speech. She died from breast cancer in 1998. The couple, who boast a combined fortune of £700 million, will marry in a low-key ceremony in front of just 30 guests. Sir Paul McCartney will serenade bride Nancy Shevell with three of his own songs on their wedding day. The couple chose the date because it would have been the 71st birthday of his Beatles band-mate John Lennon, who died in 1980. The wedding reception is being held in the back garden of Sir Paul’s house in St John’s Wood, close to Abbey Road studios where the Beatles recorded most of their songs.
