The annual Macworld exposition began Thursday in San Francisco.
More than 20,000 people who use, create and love Apple products are expected to gather to celebrate the intersection of technology and art, IDG World Expo. The event begins on the 26th (Thursday) for the public and goes on until 29th (Saturday), with Press & Media folks. The iFanEvent goes beyond the usual media personalities presenting tech topics in lectures or panel discussions. The Midway will highlight music performances, interactive sessions, and galleries for visual arts and film. Macworld | iWorld has released Mobile Show Guide, a comprehensive iPhone/iPad app, the official app of the event developed by DoubleDutch. This year’s convention will include a festival of films exclusively shot on iPhones and how-to sessions about ways to better leverage Apple’s mobile-friendly technology.
