Facebook’s new Trusted Friends feature helps to log in if you forget your password.
With Trusted Friends, Facebook will allow users to choose three to five friends who can help if you’re ever forget your password. The new system doesn’t actually seem more efficient than the usual route if you’ve simply forgotten your password, but if for instance your account has been hacked and you’ve been locked out of your email, this is a new solution. You can pick five Facebook friends you trust, then if you get locked out of account, call your friends, collect three of the codes, enter them, and you’re back in business.
