Nokia has unveiled its latest Windows Phone 8 smartphone: the Nokia Lumia 620.
Nokia Lumia 620 sports 3.8-inch screen with a ClearBlack WVGA display to improve the viewing experience outdoors in bright sunlight. There is a 5-megapixel rear rear-facing and a front-facing VGA camera for video calling. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB of RAM.
On-board memory weighs in at 8GB and can be expanded by up to 64GB using microSD cards, while you also get 7GB of Skydrive cloud-based storage free with the smartphone.
The Lumia 620 also includes NFC for linking up with accessories such as speakers, an “especially loud speaker” on the back of the phone, a “very fast” five megapixel camera and Nokia-specific Windows Phone 8 apps/features — such as SmartShoot, Cinemagraph, City Lens, Lenses, Maps, Music, Drive and Transport.
The Nokia Lumia 620 is joining the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 as the company’s third Windows Phone 8-powered device.
The Lumia 620 will launch at the start of next year and will be priced at $249 in the US meaning it’s likely to retail for around £200 in the UK. The device will be available in a choice of lime green, orange, magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black.
