With days left before the kick-off of Euro 2012 Iker Casillas has set a record for most international wins.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper has earned his 95th victory with Spain’s 4-1 victory over South Korea in a friendly match,
breaking the record for the highest number of international victories that had been set by France’s Lilian Thuram
and matched by Egypt’s Ahmed Hassan. He claimed yet another outstanding achievement making his 73rd clean sheet,
surpassing the previous record holder Edwin van der Sar. Spain opens Euro 2012 against Italy on June 10, with Ireland and Croatia also in Group C.
